Looking for a beta-reader

I’m looking for someone willing to read my entire manuscript, 166,000 words, to offer critique on construction, continuity, aesthetics and accessibility.

Synopsis: An Open Future: Facing Global Crisis with Vision and Heart is a cross-genre work speaking from the non-dual heart of Buddhist philosophy, psychology, climate science, politics and economics to make the case for an ontological shift to non-dual values expressed as interdependence, response-ability, resonance, reciprocity, equality and unbreakable relationality. It critiques modern culture driving the world into a self-destructive spiral while calling for a remembrance of interdependence, collective responsibility and impermanence critical to a culture of life. Global warming is a mirror of the human project demanding a much deeper transformation than technocracy imagines, one of profound introspection, revelation and cooperation. We are throwing all efforts into technical solutions while ignoring the human identity crisis. Modernity, with its roots in colonialism and destructive Western narratives of exclusion, cultural arrogance, domination and ecological devastation is driving the crisis. While grieving all we have sacrificed on the altar of modernity, we have an opportunity to create a life-affirming response to the ongoing distortion of vital planetary systems.

The first half explores spiritual issues, wholeness, nondual perception, integrity and tensegrity as a model of social organizing rooted in natural law. The second half, with tenderness and vitality, continuously gesturing toward the openness of the non-dual view, combines with a sobering dose of reality to address the Anthropocene as a totem, the shrinking living space of Earth, and the ethics of mass migration. The institutions of international law, property, climate finance and state sovereignty are depicted as instruments of modernity that remain obstacles to a sustainable culture of life. Recovery and restoration of human-planetary relations, fueled by a return to communion, intimacy, embodied intelligence and a naturally arising morality can become rituals of recovery, turning the biosphere toward a life-sustaining homeostasis.
